DBE Directory:
The DBE Directory is a list of all firms certified as DBEs under the DBE Program with ODOT. DBE Certification is required in order to be included in the directory. This directory is provided to each prime contractor interested in contracting with ODOT when they get bid plans from ODOT Engineering Department. Many of the contracts have specified the amount of minority participation required and the Prime Contractors must subcontract the designated amount of dollars to DBE firms. Again, only those firms on the list are eligible to be considered as possible sub-contractors
The list can be viewed at www.dbefirmsok.com. From this listings, prime contractors can sort by key words detailing the type of work each DBE firm's capability to identify possible candidates for sub-contracting opportunities.

Initial Assessment:
The initial assessment is the first step to becoming certified. Team One Consultants will perform an on-site assessment of each certified DBE firm. The assessment asks for some basic information about the company. Based on the review, Team One Consultants will generate a concise Company Profile. This company profile will be made available to Prime Contracts when searching for sub-contractors. The company profiles become a vital marketing tool for the DBE firms increasing the opportunity for contracts.

Community Forums:
Community Forums are held at strategic locations around the state. These forums brings together certified DBE firms, contractors, and ODOT representatives to discuss the DBE Program, industry practices and solutions to help the DBE firms wishing to contract with ODOT. The Community Forums allow the business community to voice their concerns regarding the DBE Program as well as highlight some of the successes.
